Racism

I sometimes think I’m adopted.  The other day I got an email from my mother.  I opened it and found an email attacking Barack Obama.  The email was really about Obama’s airplane and how unpatriotic it was for him to change the decal on it from an American flag to his “O” logo (which kinda looks like an American flag).  For the record, she has zero flag decals on her car, so how unpatriotic does that make her?

When I asked her about it later, she said she didn’t want black people in the White House.  Period.  Actually, she said it with an exclamation point, and I think she used the N-word.

“Who are you?” I asked, shocked.  Then I proceeded to remind her that he is almost as white as she is.  She’s three quarters white, while he is half.

Maybe I should give her a taste of her own medicine.  Perhaps I’ll submit her email address to a Ku Klux Klan mailing list.  I smile on the inside as I think of all the racist propaganda email flooding her inbox.  If it’s racism she wants, it’s racism she’ll get.
